Town of Reading Seal

The Town of Reading, acting through its Town Manager, is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide and conduct a written examination for Police Officer candidates.

Copies of the Request for Proposals may be obtained at the Reading Police Department Records Office, 15 Union Street, 2nd floor, Reading Massachusetts on and after August 17, 2015 or by calling the Police Department at (781) 942-6771. The proposal deadline is Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2 pm.

This contract is being awarded under the provisions of MGL Chapter 30B. The Town of Reading shall determine the most advantageous proposal from a responsible and responsive proposer taking into consideration the evaluation criteria and price set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP).

The Town of Reading reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or to award, or not to award the contract for any reason the Town Manager determines to be in the Town’s and/or the public’s best interest.
