Notice is hereby given, under Section 4.6.4 of the Reading Zoning Bylaw and Section 3 of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Dover Amendment and under Section 5.18 of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40C Historic Districts Act, that the Community Planning and Development Commission (CPDC) in conjunction with the Historic Districts Commission (HDC) will hold a Combined Public Hearing on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 7:30 PM, in the Great Room at the Pleasant Street Center, 49 Pleasant Street, to hear the application for a Limited Site Plan Review as submitted by Robert Littleton, Jr., President of Criterion Child Development, Inc. for the properties located at 186 and 190 Summer Avenue (Assessors Map 15, Lots 294, 295, and 296) and to amend the Certificate of Non-Applicability and Certificate of Appropriateness issued by the Historic District Commission on November 18, 2015 to Robert Littleton, Jr., President of Criterion Child Development, Inc. for the properties located at 186 and 190 Summer Avenue (Assessors Map 15, Lots 294, 295, and 296). The Applicant is proposing to repair and renovate the existing historic home and barn located at 186 Summer Avenue for use by Criterion Child Enrichment. The project will also include construction of an underground connector between the two structures, a 38-space parking lot, playground area, installation of new walkways, lighting and landscaping. A copy of the application and associated plans are available to the public in the Public Services Department on the 1st floor of Town Hall, Monday–Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Tuesdays from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
