WOBURN - Absentee ballots are now available for all voters for the Special State Election to be held on Tuesday, June 25 to fill the vacancy in the office of U.S. Senator from Massachusetts.
The deadline for filing an application for an absentee ballot is Monday, June 24, 2013 at noon. A written application must be filed by all voters seeking to vote by absentee ballot.
Ballots may be mailed to voters upon written request or a voter may vote by absentee ballot in the office of the City Clerk. To be eligible to vote by absentee ballot, the voter must be out of the city during the hours the polls are open, have a physical inability to get to the polls, or have a religious belief that prohibits the voter from voting on election day.
