BOSTON (AP) — A New Hampshire man is facing a murder charge in connection with a fatal stabbing over the weekend near North Station in Boston, police said.

Officers responding to a radio call at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday found the victim in the area of Hotel Indigo on Friend Street, according to a post on the Boston police department's website.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officers arrested Ren Rodgers, 23, of Hollis, New Hampshire and charged him with murder, police said. He is expected to face arraignment in Boston Municipal Court on Monday. It could not immediately be determined if he has an attorney.

The victim's name was not made public and police did not release any additional details.

The stabbing remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
