Sunday, June 16, 2019, marks the first of four monthly “Artisan Market at the Mills” events, located at the West Mills, 50 High Street in North Andover. This is the second year of hosting this monthly craft fair from the collaboration of the North Andover Merchants Association, the North Andover Farmers Market and the East and West Mills.

Enjoy the scenic, natural backdrop of Sutton Pond that abuts the beautifully renovated brick West Mill, the site of the historic Davis and Furber Machine Shop. The grounds of the West Mills is the perfect surrounding to shop from up to 56 vendors that change from month to month to create a variety of artisans to choose from, keeping each monthly market a new experience.

Peruse through hundreds of handmade items from some of the best artisan crafters in the area. You can find that one of a kind, special gift you’ve been looking for to give for Father’s Day, to your favorite graduate, that special bride and groom, or to treat yourself! Items included fine art, jewelry, home decor, photography, creations in glass, wood, fiber, and more.

Live music will be provided by a different musical artist each month to create a different musical mood for each market.

Local business tenets of the East and West Mills will be providing activities for all to enjoy. Activities like yoga demonstrations, chair massages and wine tasting for the adults, as well as many children’s activities, including Batman and Princess Jasmine, who will be available for free photo opportunities with the kids from 11am until noon.

To satisfy your appetite, a great selection of food trucks will be on hand, including the Whoopie Pie Wagon. You can also walk or take a free hayride to the very nearby Farmer’s Market, which also opens on June 16. The Farmers Market offers a variety of fresh produce and baked goods from local farms and businesses.

The West and East Mills are also the home of many fine and casual dining establishments with indoor and outdoor seating.

This event runs from 10am until 2pm, rain or shine, so wear your sunscreen or rain jacket accordingly. The Artisan Market is held on the third Sunday of each month for four consecutive months (June 16, July 21, August 18 and September 15), and admission is free.
