TEWKSBURY — The Planning Board met Monday to reorganize after the April 6 election and to continue their ongoing discussion of the proposed development at the corner of North Street and Andover Street. Steve Johnson was re-elected chair of the board. Robert Fowler was elected vice chair, and Vinny Fratalia was elected clerk.
The board addressed a request for release of a $5,000 bond at Heatherwood Retirement Living at 1624 Main St. The board has had ongoing issues with Heatherwood regarding their failure to maintain adequate landscaping standards. A representative for Heatherwood told the board that shrubbery issues had been taken care of, and the board cautioned Heatherwood to keep up the landscaping; according to Johnson, the issue had been repeatedly discussed for a “long, long, long time.”
The board approved the request.
The board addressed an approval-not-required plan at 90 Frasier Lane. Dick Cuoco appeared on behalf of the owners at Lot 18 and 19 regarding a shed on the property.
The discussion of a site plan special permit for the proposed development at 1037 North St./1547 Andover St./1553 Andover St./1536 Andover St., was continued to the board’s May 13 meeting.
The next meeting of the board is scheduled for May 13, 2019.
