Reading Co-operative Bank receives two Community Champions Awards from the New England Financial Marketing Association
Reading, MA – Reading Co-operative Bank was recently honored with two Community Champions awards from the New England Financial Marketing Association (NEFMA). NEFMA awarded RCB with two Silver awards for the work they do involving Economic Development and Financial Literacy. The bank branch at Reading Memorial High School played a large role in the bank receiving these awards. They also offer free financial education seminars to the members of the communities they serve as they feel that financial literacy is an important tool for everyone.
"I am very proud of the work we do and the relationship we have established at Reading Memorial High School. These two awards are the perfect complement to our collaborative efforts to develop financial skills for the students of RMHS and those in the Retail Banking Program," says Mike Foley, Branch Manager Reading Memorial High School.
"We're honored that our branch at Reading Memorial High School and our collaboration with the school have been recognized with these two awards. It's gratifying that our ongoing efforts and commitment to RCB's partnership with RMHS are helping develop the real life money and banking skills of the kids in our program," says Bryan Greenbaum, Senior Vice President Retail Banking.
